I grew up in neighboring Savanna, Illinois before entering the United States Air Force where I served for nine years.  I was recruited by the former Director of the Jo Daviess Carroll AVC & the Regional Superintendent of Schools to take over the then CISCO Networking Program in July of 2000.  

Since that time the Computer Networking & Security Program has continually evolved to align itself with industry standards and professionally steered by our Advisory Panel of business professionals within the information technology and workforce representatives.  We have most recently included and extensive course curriculum in 3D Printing & Design.  Both our first & second year programs include dual college credit.  

In addition to being an Instructor and local business owner, I serve as the Academy's IT Director and Staff Representative.
