Automotive Technology
The Automotive Technology program is an overview of the entire automobile. Each year starts with an introduction/refresher of both tools and shop safety. This includes an OSHA 10-hour course for 1st year students. Then, we will visit all the major systems on the vehicle. This means covering but not limiting to Heating/AC, Electrical, Brakes, Steering/Suspension, Engines, Service Procedures/Work Orders, etc. Students will have exposure to a range of vehicles in the shop doing “hands -on” learning over all of these systems.
